Vocabulary

*Advisor: somebody who advises students on academic matters such as course choices.
(advisor)

* Appropriate: to take something that belongs to or is associated with somebody else for
yourself, especially without permission.(Adecuado)

* Attitude: an opinion or general feeling about something.(a positive attitude to change)
(actitud)

* Colleague: a person somebody works with, especially in a professional or skilled job.
( colega)

*Cover letter: a letter sent with another document or package, providing necessary or
additional information.( carta de presentacion)

* Co- worker: a people when working together in the same job.
( companero de trabajo)

* Criticism: a spoken or written opinion or judgment of what is wrong or bad about somebody or something. ( criticism )

*Discrimination: unfair treatment of one person or group, usually because of prejudice about race, ethnicity, age, religion, or gender.( discriminacion )

* Duty: something that somebody is obliged to do for moral, legal, or religious reasons.(your duties as a parent)(deber).

*Employee: a paid worker.(empleado)

*Evaluate: to consider or examine something in order to judger its value, quality, importance, extent, or condition.( we evaluated the situation carefully)(evaluar)

*Flexible: able to change or be changed according to circumstances.(flexible)

*Harassment: behavior that threatens or torments somebody, especially persistently.
(acoso)

*Initiative: the ability to act and make decisions without the help or advice of other people.( you'll just have to use your initiative)(iniciativa)

* Novice: somebody who is beginning or learning an activity and has acquired little skill in it.
(principiante)

*Proactive: taking the initiative by acting rather than reacting to events.
(proactiva)

*Qualifications: a skill, quality, or attribute that makes somebody suitable for a job, activity, or task.(calificacion)

*Recommendation: a suggestion as to what is a good or sensible thing to do or use in the circumstances.(recomendacion)

*Reference: a spoken or written comment that either specifically mentions or calls attention to somebody or something is intended to bring somebody or something to mind.(referencia)

* Reliable: able to be trusted to do what is expected or has been promised.(she is extramely reliable and a hard worker.(seguro)

* Salary: a fixed annual sum, paid at regular intervals, usually monthly, to an employee, especially for professional or clerical work.(Sueldo)

*Task: a piece of work that somebody is given to do, usually short in duration or with a deadline.(tarea)

*Wages: a just reward or recompense for something.(salario)
